Brightweaver LLC is a small, bootstrapped team focused on leveraging AI technology to develop consumer applications with capabilities that go beyond what traditional apps can offer. We use AI not only in the products we build, but in how we build them, letting us move faster and ship with far fewer resources than a conventional team would need.

The Founder

Brightweaver was founded by Garth Shoemaker, a veteran product manager with over 11 years at Google spanning Cloud billing and monetization, enterprise identity, and privacy. Prior to that, he was a software engineer at Intel and at startups, and earned a Ph.D. in Computing Science from the University of British Columbia. Throughout his career, Garth's strength has been building products that genuinely meet user needs, translating research and insight into intuitive, well-loved experiences. He has bootstrapped before, growing an earlier app from zero to 320,000 users.
